Chip Extraction System for Aluminum Chips
The SAE series chip extraction systems were developed by WALTER specifically for aluminum tube and can production in non-Ex areas. The SAE series is available in various performance levels and housing sizes. This allows them to be adapted to different requirements. The robust chip extraction systems enable trouble-free 24-hour operation at constant air throughput.

Operating Principle
The WALTER SAE series consists of a 2-stage filter system. The first filter stage consists of a separator. Here the chips and coarse particles are separated and fall into a chip cart. The chip cart is emptied easily via a sliding or flap mechanism (depending on version). The second filter stage consists of filter bags or filter cartridges (depending on version). The exhaust air is then returned draft-free upward into the room. Noise development is reduced by means of a sound hood with built-in sound-absorbing baffles.
